Ashlen Govender a Grade 12 pupil from Star College secured a place in the team of four that has been selected to represent South Africa at the International Bio Olympiad to be held from the 02 July 2014 to 13 July 2014 in Bali – Indonesia.

Ashlen was extremely excited about his performance when he came FIRST in the selection exam that was written in April 2014. Each pupil had to raise R25 000 to cover the cost of trip and he is most grateful to all his sponsors that have contributed in making this trip possible.
